Brad Penoyer is the owner and kennel handler.

He opened the doors to Evergreen Kennels and Grooming in November 2002.

Brad knew our community needed a place to bring their pets and know they would be welled cared for.

He and his wife, Katie and their 3 children reside on the property adjacent to the kennel.

Sandy Lord serves the role of manager and has been a kennel handler with us since August 2013.

“I recently retired after 29 years as an X-ray technician at Penn Highlands. I enjoy caring for the dogs and cats that stay with us. Heather Lefort has been grooming with us since 2017.

She graduated from Pennsylvania Academy of Grooming in 2012.

Since having her son in 2022, Heather has stepped down to grooming only one day a week.

She loves giving the pets a great experience and her filled scheduled is a testament to her skills..

Shailee Glace graduated from Pennsylvania Academy of Pet Grooming in 2012.

She began her grooming career here in 2015.

When she isn’t working hard to make your pets beautiful, she is at home with her two sons, Adin and Alexavier, three dogs, cats, tarantulas and a bearded dragon.

JoNea Swatsworth joined our staff in 2020.

She is one of our kennel handlers and also grooms full time. 

In her spare time she fosters dogs and kitties.

She shares her home with three dogs and always has one or all of them by her side.

Julea Foster started as a Kennel handler here in Nov. 2021. 

Since the beginning she has been training and honing her skills as a groomer.

When not working she is busy playing and training her Border Collie, Rango.
