Q. What form of payment do you accept?
A. We accept cash, check and most major credit cards.

Q. What vaccinations do you require?
A. We require all kennel and grooming dogs to be current on Rabies, Distemper and Bordetella. Cats must have a Rabies, FVRCP or RCPP and Feline leukemia or a negative test result for the leukemia.

Q. How many times will my dog go outside?
A. We will take your dog out at least 4 times a day for bathroom breaks.

Q. Can I bring my pets food?
A. We recommend bringing their food, some dogs will be sensitive to switching food and may get an upset stomach. We feed Purina Pro Plan, chicken base diet. There is no extra cost to feed our food.

Q. Should I bring my pet’s bed, toys, and food dishes?
A. Please do not bring blankets and bedding from home. We will provide bedding and blankets. We will also provide food and water dishes. You may bring a favorite toy, treats or a shirt with your scent.

Q. Will you give my pet their medication?
A. Yes, please bring labeled medication and written instructions with you. Also anything your dog would need to take it with. Ex. Peanut butter, pill pockets, cheese.

Q. Can we pick up or drop off, early or later?
A. We encourage all pickups/drop-offs to be during normal hours. M-F in 9:00 am, 12:00 pm and 6:00 pm. Saturday is 12:00 pm or 6:00 pm. Sunday is 1:00 pm or 6:00 pm. If you pick up before the scheduled check out day a $10.00 fee will be applied per dog.

Q. My dog is matted, do I need to have him shaved?
A. It could take hours to brush them out and would very painful. Shaving is the most humanly way to remove them and make their coat manageable.

Q. What can I use on my dogs itchy flaky skin?
A. We have an Oatmeal shampoo and also a medicated shampoo available. There are OTC skin conditioners you can use. Severe cases may need to be seen by your veterinarian.

Q. My dog is hot, can you shave them?
A. Long haired, large breeds and double coated breeds are not meant to be shaved and we strongly urge against it. Their coat actually helps to regulate their body temperature, keep them cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Shaving may also permanently damage the coat.

Q. How often should I have my dog groomed and nails trimmed?
A. Depending on how fast the coat grows, we usually suggest every 6 -8 weeks. Nails should be trimmed every 4 – 6 weeks.
